STEPHEN W. COOPER

Stephen W. Cooper is one of the founding partners of COOPER BROWN, APC. He has practiced workers’ compensation law since 2002, handling all aspects of Workers' Compensation law, including the defense of 132a petitions and Serious & Willful misconduct claims. Stephen has extensive trial experience routinely resulting in favorable decisions. He presently represents both self-insured and insured employers, insurance companies and municipalities. In addition, Stephen provides training to employers, insurance companies and third party administrators regarding the workers' compensation system, utilization review, Medical Provider Networks, the PQME process, Case law updates and the AMA Guides.

Prior to founding COOPER BROWN, APC, Stephen was a shareholder for other leading workers' compensation defense firms appearing at WCABs all throughout California.
